
You already know when the change started in me, now I would like to share with you, what caused me and how it influenced me.
I have always known that I am a bit different from the rest, always staring at the sky and delighted with the cosmos, its unattainability. I have always been fascinated by science and all kinds of things related to that. However, there is also another part of me, romantic, dreamy and dreaming to travel back in time to Paris in the 1920s.
These two natures have always sat deeply rooted in me and I have never allowed myself to forget about it – what I dream about, what I want out of life.
One day I woke up and I had a revelation that what was always in my head disappeared, at some point – it was completely covered with the everyday life of ordinary gray life, without any dreams or plans.
The situation in which I found myself made me realize that at the turn of 5 years I forgot what it was like to be myself, how to enjoy life and appreciate every moment.
This led to a situation where I finally decided to focus on myself – starting with simple things.
The first was to go back to exercise. Sport has always been with me, it allowed me to throw out the negative feelings – in difficult moments I put headphones on my ears and ran as far ahead as possible, in order to expel what was negative and unnecessary. In the past, sports helped me through a difficult period, when a very close person fought for health. And this time, starting to work on myself, starting with exercise, was the best solution. Thanks to this, I started to feel more self-confident, and my well-being was getting better and better every day. The extra doses of endorphins made me smile more and more often. Along with the exercises came meditation and work on building my own self-awareness. I tried to devote every free moment to personal development. Months of working on myself resulted in increasing self-esteem. Now, over time, I can safely say that the decision made then was one of the best.
Currently sitting in Paris (yes, I’m currently living in the place of my dreams) I can see how I went from a withdrawn, shy and complex girl to a person with a lot of dreams, plans and self-confidence.
I want to tell you: Don’t wait for the right moment, it will never come, if you want to change something in your life, start right away. Download the exercise app or join the gym, start learning a new language, buy a ticket to the place you’ve always wanted to visit. Just act. Let yourself be carried away, give yourself a pleasure that will bring a sincere and real smile on your face. Smiling is the first thing that can help you to transform.
There is nothing more beautiful than joy. Find it in yourself and share it with others.
